Starts and runs well.
The chrome is pitted due to age,
there is a small dent on the side of the tank but the paint is not disturbed.
Every part is original as it came from the Honda factory.
Fork Shrouds were painted black because of stone chips.
Both mufflers developed cracks where they meet the exhaust headers.
A pair of secondhand mufflers were found and kept as spares.
Many aftermarket mufflers are available for this 'bike.

Maintenance and Repairs
Regular oil changes were done, air filters cleaned and the centrifugal oil filter was serviced once. The valve clearances were checked once and the cam tensioner was adjusted at about 10,000 miles. The clutch plates were inspected and cleaned once, otherwise no other work was performed on the motor. The forks were removed in order to do a thorough service and oil change and the fork shrouds were painted using black enamel because of stone chips. The spark plugs were replaced and a new chain. In 2005 the original Bridgestone Nylon front tyre was replaced even though it looked perfect. It has had a couple of new rear tyres.
